How to make the salt bridge?

(1) Add 1~1.5g agar powder,10g KCl and 30ml instilled water into a beaker.

(2) Heat the beaker on the asbestos gauze to 80℃. During the heating, please stir the solution with a glass rod to dissolve all the powder and get rid of buddles in the solution.

(3) Stop the heating, and immerse the tip of luggin capillary into the agar solution, and quickly suck some agar solution into the luggin capillary with the rubber suction bulb (please don’t let air in during this process). Then pour some agar solution from the upper port of the luggin capillary till middle of the thick part. Before the agar gets cold, insert the SCE into the agar. When the agar gets cold, add some saturated KCl solution.
